It is better to set your customer’s expectation right the first time around.
Be flexible
Change will surely come to your business so be ready to adapt. Do not have a “que sera sera” attitude towards your business. Place matters into your own hands. Make the necessary decisions. Learn from your mistakes. Do not stop learning. You need knowledge to be able to survive.
Keep yourself motivated
Now that you are not working in an office, you can easily be distracted and lose focus on your business. Now that you don’t have a boss, it’s easy to just take the day off whenever you want to. But that will hurt your business. You may not see it right now but it will eventually. It’s okay to take one day off or even take the weekend off but skipping work in the middle of the week is wrong.
